Before we can start any discussion on free radicals, here is an example of a
typical cell before turning into a free radical.
It has a pair of ions: one positive and one negative. Those Ions actually rotate around the cell like moons around a planet.
A free radical is simply a cell that has lost its
negative ion. Without both ions the orbit becomes unstable. In order to survive it must steal a negative ion from another
cell. Its difficult to believe that something so simple can be so destructive
yet the evidence is overwhelming. In study after study, Free Radical
Damage has been the cause or contributing factor to almost every disease,
ailment and condition you can think of.
Even after our cellular DNA becomes "damaged" they continue to reproduce, however now rather than reproducing healthy DNA it is unhealthy.
Take a look at a Free Radical
An antioxidant, unselfishly, donates a negative ion to a
free radical. We are so fortunate that Albert Szent-Gyorgyi discovered Vitamin C
all those years ago. However, he also stated that "Hydrogen is the Fuel of
Life" Here is an
Antioxidant Before Delivering its Ion.
Most antioxidants become
free radicals after donating their negative ion. In fact there is only
one known antioxidant that does not become a free radical. Why do all other
antioxidants become free radicals? Its quite simple, they only have one negative
ion to donate. When that ion has been sacrificed there is no longer a
balance.
Lets look at an
Antioxidant After Delivering its Negative Ion Silica Hydride is the only antioxidant that does
not become a free radical
after donating its negative ion.
Silica Hydride Before Delivering one of its negative ions.
Lets take another look at:
Silica Hydride After Delivering one of its negative ions.
Remember back in your high school chemistry class, hydrogen was the smallest elemental on the chart of elements. Hydrogen is the smallest known element, in fact, many thousands of times smaller than any antioxidant it is easy to see how they can put so much more antioxidant power in a single capsule.
Almost everybody has heard of free radicals. The same is true about antioxidants. But now you have been given the information that will allow you to make a wise decision.
In this day and age of modern food processing, preservatives, air pollution,
toxic artificially sweetened soft drinks, no one can escape from free radicals. |
